Why did you disable Comments on your images ?

Mostly because I see them as useless.

There either breeding ground for trolls lewd comments or random flames .Contrary to popular belief they do not help you improve art. Art is a subjective thing that can only be improved when the artist has a specific goal in mind for their work . I.E for Example if I am selling to a Vogue magazine the Design parameters is based on that magazine publication. Someone comments “you should add more color”, But vogue magazine these typically have Neutral Colors as there main theme so more colors would be impossible . Critiques also require a Social edict that you really can’t get on the internet or at least not on Deviant art “critique someone “ You either get ( I love it ) or ( I didn’t like the colors /random comment ignoring artist intentions) . I go to an art school I can find real instruction loll to get critiques from I don’t require people on the internet for that. The other thing I find is that people generally do not real the explanations for artwork given by the artist. They start to ask question that are usually already answered in the summary they simply skipped over that to jump into a random flame/conversation.

Also I tend to draw sort of” Light comical” pinup art akin the old pinups done in the 1940s and anything remotely sexual on the internet will bring out all sort of strange folks with problems . If it something sexually neutral likes a scenery or action scene I’ll enable.

What is the Context of the Art?

I did a project awhile back in anthropology where we took a North-American comic book character .i.e Sally and converted it into a Japanese/Brazilian Cultures which mostly involved interviews with non-artist woman on beauty images and artistic taste. Most of the Art isn’t posted at the moment there was also a comic book that was inspired by the Old Sonic comic I read when I was younger based on West African Philosophy and Afro-Brazilian Culture . Sally is a Character from an Old –Cartoon Show that aired in the Early 90s and is no longer on the air she owned by the Japanese Corporation of Sega. In Japanese culture particular they lack the Same Extreme Social interpretation of copyright that Americans have glorified and shows and characters are kept alive via promoting local work. One could argue Japanese have a modern mythology that people in the west have over-commercialized

Copyright originally was an incentive to promote the protection of work within the context of a Market and profit and only lasted I believe 20 -10 years. So That Waltz Mickey mouse wasn’t stolen by: Flechers animation studio from Walt Disney and Artist had some means of protection from an a malevolent entity like publisher .It has been largely in recent time been converted into a Moral decreed for the protection stock holders and CEOs for they believe the right to Infinite profits at the expense of public domain and development of cultural mythology and there workers. It has also been used to protect publishers from Artist by essentially giving them a no-win deal of either never being published or signing their entire rights and works for some massive corporate entity .



Why Are there different Version of Sally ?

When I did the anthropology I spoke to hundreds of people of a period of I think 4 years many times via a translator .So I had about 100 something artistic designs and conceptualization too the point I had to divide the character into three sisters to keep track of all of them. I eventually made a story and creative universes inspired by the original world that I developed on my own. I had developed two worlds one that was solely based on a kind of West-African Science fiction concept . The other was my own homegrown original interpretation of the original cartoon and comic work which something that possible with Japanese related medium ,but not American medium . Since the Original fiction was published by Sega they typically fall within the realm on Japanese fiction control opposed to American.

You Despise Western Fans/Fandom ?

Damn-straight all of them doesn’t matter if it Star Trek or Naruto when they manifest in the in the Western context there is always an association with a distinctive nauseating Religious Social Fanaticism/Hierarchy . What odd is this doesn’t happen in Japan not from my experiences at least you don’t send hate mail to Manga artist. The Native Japanese anime /video game fans from Japan that I met are quite pleasant and don’t seem to require some sort of “Fan-biblical doctrine “to enjoy common media and stories in there society. When the Japanese speak of the Negative social archetype of the Otaku they speak more of people who have receded from society into fantasy worlds . Not people who have become political charged and formed a religion out of a fictional story world sending random hate mail to people who disagree with there views.

. There is a difference between being a creator making an interpretation off existing myths and culture and being a “ Crazy Fan ” A creator for example I.E (Something like Andy Warhol drawing Marilyn Monroe and Campbell Soup Cans comes to mind) .That is a Social process Old as time and the base for all human story-telling people have done that for century retelling of stories and fairy tales (Like the recent comic book the retelling of the European fairy tales in Comic book for Grimm fairy tales) .

A “Fan” is a Modern Western social construction of the Western Commercialism usually associated with the Nut-so/consumer fan who has turned a fictional work into a fanatical Religion and worships materialism and has created their own delusional reality to justify their crazy internet crusades . Also associated “ Couple Wars “waged by lonely fan girls starting wars over who will bang who and being sexist toward female characters to “ Protect their man ”
.I considers my-self to be an Anarchist who doesn’t believe in the State or Corporate Tyranny that is vertical. Vertical means power without horizontal or direct relationships to the people without power .I have an issue with people who worship Corporation because of their status and wealth and military power.


Why do you draw woman with big butts (Curves) and are Anthromorphic?

People in other culture don’t see the Female body as a disease or over-react to a sight of cleavage as tendency to be stereotypical image of the Anglo-Saxon Culture .Many African cultures celebrated fertility figures and the woman are not obsessed over anorexic sticks like Paris Hilton.



The Anthropomorphism came from I wanted to focus on characters without focusing on Social-constructions such as “race” Since I was dealing with cultures that have historically had complex issues with Racism and Oppression of African and Indigenous people I’d rather avoid it. It was also apart of the Brazilian mythology of the native Indians mythological stories ’ it seem it might communicate better since my target was a Brazilian audience.

The Comics I am working on

Sonic Underworld is the interpretation of the Old cartoons and games universe from my point of view which has inspiration from whole range of story worlds

Toon Boom, was an idea of making a Cartoon mythology. Since the character changed into a variety of appearances I got the idea of Toon Boom from Ben-10 the ability to power up into parodies of various super cartoon heroines . What inspired me is the Death of American cartoons, and the recent Cartoon network decision to make “Cartoon Network real” That literally cartoons are going the way of the Dodo

I don’t draw any sick and twisted fetish pornography and I am not taking commission at the moment. I am trying to build up my art portfolio at the moment so it going to take some time.

Thinking of separating my DA into Personal Project and then the other into Commercial Art (Trying to diversify my page) Too much Sonic art you start to attract nuts. Long time huh ? Well I got side tracked on a project dealing with information theory and anthropology made a remarkable amount of progress on it . I didn't complete it it yet well I kinda did so I'll break this up into two parts Science and Art

The Science


. It's good enough for artistic usages and aiding in media distributions ,but not organized enough to be published outside of the people I directly explain it to . It good enough for art but not complete enough for science (I'd need math for that ) lol apparently anything can be represented in math in a simplified practical form , not just linear-equations . In a nutshell it was a pretty complex theory on getting bridging rules between Studies of consciousness Sociology Psychology and Social biology On one hand and eliminating Western Bias and Social-religious conflict from the models all together including something called Scientism which is a tendency to take science and apply it way beyond it's limits as an ultimate knowledge source of everything and the search for a perfect mechanically controlled universe that dates back to I think enlightenment and Newtonian physics with other social-construction like "rational mind "etc . I am reading something called Scientific Prescriptivism ,the History of Scientific revolution and Science Without Laws. The other focus was eliminating Cartesian dualism ,which is when we divide reality up into two separate realities one with consciousness one without and replaces it with Naturalistic Dualism the idea that consciousness is simply a product of the universe , Either everything is consciousness abit different kinds of consciousness( in all matter in I think 10 to the 500 power ? forgot the amount of parallel worlds technically it infinite so I am not sure what the notation is re) ,So that "Monism" Or Some things are consciousness "Interactional naturalistic dualism" .West African and in Buddhism there is no real separation of reality but consciousness phenomenal experiences is a distinctly different phenomena than matter /energy super strings or whatever else they find down there. I lean to internationalist dualism since ti possible to imagine a world without human consciousness and life, . Monism could be right though there are just different kinds of consciousness so the Rock is consciousness lol..but it different from human and animal consciousness

The Art

How does this have anything to do with art ? Alot actually but it runs parallel to it in several different components that are interrelated . Here one , Akin to making art and writing stories as a form of information-warfare when one start to publish ( lol if you imagine some of the fandoms and random trolls in terms of DOS attack , Hackers and random assaults on individual artist the analogy fits quite well ). They deal with unspoken social hierarchy hidden networks and symbolic rules normally hidden from awareness or only rules become known when there violated Alot with Prophets and hieratics . (Think they did an interesting lol.. study on city of heroes MMO relating to how human beings form these social rules on the internet)

So I imagined media networks in terms of neural nets they grow they socialize they form bonds bit like training a neural network , those bonds become interrelated from all sort of social models with different vector weights that resist ambugity and structural collapse into a kind of decoherence or of what the social rules might be .(Think that the correct mathematical term vectors I just call them weights though, It an analogy since media are constructed by human beings so the weights change based on the human activity and levels of social connections ) Decoherence is a word borrowed from the Quantum theory, let say there are multiple possibilities in a social rule/social code system that exist simultaneously . That a lot of possibilities then it possible to lose one set of Social rules and guides among other possibilities which causes instability and collapse which translates into a social revolutions and so forth or petty collapse of online cliques and fandoms controversy. .

The Older larger social networks have more power than the weaker smaller social networks .For a bunch of reason in an Empire like the US-West or China it age and stratification economic and military power. In a non-empire that less stratification it because of the redundancies and usefulness of social codes and beliefs to whatever problems and understanding that arise (These network tend to be flexible a bit like memory metal opposed to strict set of power rules and relationships ) . These networks are govern by some basic rules that creative a collective operating system of all social individual in the group, and these rules are derived from an abstract cosmology that lack any mechanical limits ,but mechanical limits come into play once applied to systems with sentient beings and there needs. So for the independent content creator who simply want to make art for the same art , and ever now and then make cash . It becomes more of a complex process than than you figure it would be

Some other discovery

There a certain level of infrastructure require to make art on one hand there Technology ,but there also social-infrastructure structures human networks (Or just dealing with crazy folks ) and Extended operating rules to deal with things . So when someone working on the internet outside the boundaries of traditional publishing networks in other languages and other cultures Ones need to find a way to construct a virtual infrastructure (An Artist in this idea is not an individual but an interdependant organism where individuality is negotatied with a group in different social ritual .

.Different groups of people respond to different kind of infrastructure differently based on there social codes and rules and historical social mythology. Bit like the internet when you think about different networks or social networks conform to different rules based on the type of site It impossible to predict what anyone person will do lol.. there is a rule structure that sorta either emerges on it own from people interacting or is explicitly stated by a hierarchy of some sort




What it means that a Single Artist Operating as an Individual just on art and skill lol probably won't make a lot of progress in constructing a kind of media enterprise like Disney . Even Walt Disney history if I remember from language and animation class was a business man and a story teller .first . paid other people to draw for him and we remember him more so than thousands of animators who worked under him. But the mythology of the Single artist striving on there own making only on there art skills to become the next great name . lol. it sorta a powerful Western myth or at least American one the American Dream ,though there culture who didn't have a word for art lol.. so it value is really relative.I'd guess it possible , but it require more than just learning to draw good had a friend who draws perfect realism and pinup art struggling to pay rent. Art pretty subjective the only measure it success is how well it communicates to X group or Y Group vs what it communicates having an infrastructure to distribute it . Don't think it actually happen to often though if I remember the little of art history that I did ,Great artist either Died and became great afterward ritualistic , or they worked for wealthy elite ,upper-class or the clergy. With a lot of modern art and consumer product made by thousands of people people tend to focus on the single brand name that is the most famous and tend to assume it the sole product of them .

So just learning traditional art skills .. I mean it helps and give you a wider range of drawing ,but we live in a world you can paint a wall red and give a speech and get 50,000 dollars . While that complex concept art on concept .org is worth 100 dollars if not less lol value and art are relativistic .





Back To Art

Well Basically gonna start posting new art soon ,not everything but there will be other websites blogs and places to go for other art .I am sticking with the Sally Art and the interpretation I made when working with Brazil working on a comic though and a World .Treating the Sonic Franchise akin to or retelling of myths just modern ones , most old stories came from retelling of tall tales and Folklore . So making my own interpretation of the original story world and what not. I dislike fans to tell the truth they remind me of a cult ,or an Extremist religion worshiping corporate power . Anyway There two worlds and a third one .



The First is a Magical Realist Science fiction that was inspired by Sonic CD and SATAM and Early Archie comic and this whole world I made around it . me and my friend nicked name Crimson Underworld and Sonic Overworld.

The Second Is called Toon Boom Essentially Sally other character who play a role called Dream weavers imbued with the power parody Super heroines from Miss Bellum to Louise Petersmith and powerups.{Toon Boom Watch} along with new character and what not

I've disable comments on my art .. Well not to be rude but I don't value in critiques on the internet lol.. there either a Random flame ,a flame disguised as a critique and the fact of the matter is unless you know the direction and goal the artist was going for then the opinion is pointless lol beside I got real people and art teachers to get critiques from . It comical I've seen Artist get bashed by there color choices when the company paid them to color it a certain color lol.. so you attack them because of you "high fan consumer opinion on color ". Don't see how that exactly helpful to an artist in any extent. That and it tend to distract from the art and people do not usually read the commentary before posting end up with random arguments spawning taking it up time with people who have nothing better to do.
